he never leaves me lonely

“Mom! I’ll take your picture under the rainbow!” ~Sarah Joy

There’s a peace in my heart that the world never gave,
A peace it cannot take away;
Though the trials of life may surround like a cloud,
I’ve a peace that has come here to stay

a full, double rainbow over the sea, standing in my own backyard; praising!

!Constantly abiding, Jesus is mine;
Constantly abiding, rapture divine;
He never leaves me lonely, whispers, oh, so kind:
“I will never leave thee”—Jesus is mine.

everything was seen through a pink hue. simply stunning

All the world seemed to sing of a Savior and King,
When peace sweetly came to my heart;
Troubles all fled away and my night turned to day,
Blessed Jesus, how glorious Thou art!

this morning’s sunrise

Constantly abiding, Jesus is mine;
Constantly abiding, rapture divine;
He never leaves me lonely, whispers, oh, so kind:
“I will never leave thee”—Jesus is mine.

God, the original modern artist!

This treasure I have in a temple of clay,
While here on His footstool I roam;
But He’s coming to take me some glorious day,
Over there to my heavenly home!

  1. Lovely, inspirational, meaningful words, and gorgeous pics from a beautiful person. It’s nice to see your post. 🙂

    You might not know this, but I was praying for you as that hurricane went by. I almost sent a warning about the tidal surge, because I know you are right on the beach. Most people die in a hurricane from the tidal surge, and most don’t realize how bad a large tidal surge can be. I lived near the coast too long, and heard too many horror stories of people who got trapped by rising tides and couldn’t leave in time. I even composed it and everything…then I thought, “No, that seems controlling. She is a big girl and is quite smart and careful” and I deleted it and doubled up my prayers.

    Regardless, I’m very happy to know you didn’t get swept away. The pics are stunning. There is nothing like a sunset or sunrise at the beach…

    Thank you for sharing the pics and uplifting reminder that it’s all in Gods control.
