A friday ritual.
A single photo,
no words.
Capturing a moment of the week.
A simple, special, extraordinary moment.
A moment I (might) want to pause, savor, and remember.

LOL My Friday is the same! Socks, socks! Mostly more than half of it are one pair – my kids lost their other ones SOMEWHERE!
oh.my.CHICKENS!!!!
You will want to remember, and be glad you don’t have to do it anymore, but miss other things that go with matching socks.
That should be me:) but instead I walk by the basket and wave :):)
I feel so much better. Our family has just one less than yours…and our sock basket looks like this. I keep threatening to throw them away, buy new and start from scratch. Such an overwhelming task. (hugs)
looks like a 1000-parts jigsaw cheers, michel
Hurry summer and bare feet!! (:
HA! Sock sorting and folding is the bane of my existence!! I always wonder how so many socks can look so much alike and yet be so different? Happy Friday Shanda!
ohmygoodness! that’s a LOT of socks! happy matching!
I sort all of the socks and underwear, but nothing like that!
socks without partners will eventually be the death of me =/
you could have a sock hop
So happy my husband does the “sox-box” at our house 😉
Burried in socks…..I have been there every week for years.
Hah! Do you ever get them all matched!
Oh goodness..haha I just left a comment on your reeeally old blog. 😉 But it was super fun to hear from you on mine! what an honor. 🙂 You’re an inspiration! Keep seeking Jesus with everything you have. 😀
Oh my gosh!!!! Hahaha…the dog looks as overwhelmed as you might have felt. (though I would imagine you are used to all those socks)
OMG! LoL! I’m the oldest of 8 and this brings back SO many memories!
wow is all I can say 🙂 I don’t envy your ‘moment’ at all 🙂
Woooooow. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many socks!!!! What a chore!
Lol! I got tired of having that much fun a few years ago and bought all my children their own kind of socks. No one has the same kind, that way I just throw their socks in their tub and I NEVER have to match. I have one less child than you so I don’t know if you can do that, but hey, it might be worth a try!
ha! love it!
dear God! is what popped into my head with this pic! 😀 you’ve been blessed with so many little piggys at your house.
lol. Love it! I’ve been there and feel your pain. There are so many close.. look at all those whites, but several minor differences like a stripe or height or width of ribbing. Luckily it’s a trend now to mismatch socks. They even sell them that way in the mall, so don’t fret or throw out the lonlies.
Overwhelming.. Makes me want to buy one color, one style of sock. Period. LOL
You can come to my house and savor those socks anytime! I hate matching socks!
Good gravy! That is a LOT of socks! I say white for girls and black for guys. All the same kind. There’s a family in the U.S. (I think they are called the Dugers) and they have about 18 kids! Imagine. The mom uses the black and white sock plan. There are only two of us, and I have a whole guilty drawer of socks that do not match. I just can’t seem to throw them away. I guess I am hoping for a miracle. Sock reunion. Ha. No, maybe Pinterest has something I could do with them. Hmmm…. I should check…. OK — I am rambling! Have a lovely weekend, friend.
Maybe your dog could give you a hand…er…paw. In due season you will reap if you don’t faint before then. 🙂
Oh. My. reminds me of a cartoon i saw once, ” matching socks” they were taking a match and lighting them and throwing them on a burn pile
if you don’t mind if i make a suggestion…. maybe try safety pining matching socks together after the kids take them off? so they wash & dry together? socks matching seems very time consuming.
Ha! I thought the sock eating monster was exclusivley at my house! It truly is a “puzzle” you do not have to buy! Although I am a bit envious, I do wish I had a sweet dog by my side in these tasks.:)
looks like a familiar sight 😉
/head desk I am avoiding even thinking about this!
