  1. Ah yes….when I was her age, I was constantly reading. The local librarian was a family friend, keeping me stocked with all sorts of good things to read.I always looked forward to the newly accessioned books. :)Now my 7yo granddaughter is the same. She reads everything! Love hearing her read aloud to her younger sibs.

  2. Sweet! Special moment: Upon arriving at my son and daughter-in-law’s house with the pan of lasagna I made for them, I received hugs from all 4 grands and their Mommy, who was so very grateful. She is due to birth #5 in a few weeks and is pretty tired now. I love helping them…they are so wonderful.

  3. I love this, Shan.  Grace’s braid is beautiful, and the crocheted afgan is so homey.  Special moment from this week was having tea with my daughters and some extra girls.  We used cups that were my grandma’s, and a teapot that was my great-grandma’s.

  4. I love this picture. Special Moment ~ (does it count if it happened today since it’s technically a new week?….we’ll just say yes. =)  You’ll appreciate this one!I was selling corn at a flea market today. The lady next to us had a yellow fiesta serving bowl…a piece I had never seen. I wanted to buy it and she said ” Bring me a bag of your corn and you can take the bowl.” I was SO excited!!!  I gave her two bags of corn! =)Hope you had a good weekend.
