I knew right away from the title that you were inspired by Soulemama, she is SO inspiring!  I cannot wait to see the dress when it is all finished!  It must be so nice to sew near the window with all the light coming in, and I see your little happy helper!  My eye went to that quilt and how I would love to be sitting in the chair talking to you!

  4. hi shanda…….i love sewing, i love ironing, and i love babies & toddlers – perfect photo!  and by the way, from your last post, i can’t imagine that little sarah is crawing already.  that first photo of her is too.  darn.  cute!!

  5. What fun!  I’ve wondered if her books were any good, her blog looks great.  I may have to try this…if I remember .  I find that the more kids I have, the more I seem to be forgetful.  How does that happen?  lolhave a great weekend

  6. I loved this post as you might well expect. My heart starts beating a little faster whenever I see a sewing post. I love the patchwork quilt in the background. I’ll be waiting with anticipation for the doll clothes post.
