~three months pregnant~

I was 7 months pregnant with Seth when this picture was taken on December 12, 2008.

One year later, here he is in my arms and already 10 months old.

A happy, healthy, busy, baby boy who has the whole family wrapped around his little finger.

And it’s hard to believe I am done with my first trimester for our next baby.  Lord willing, next year I can add another picture to this series.

  1. Cute kid! And congrats on the pregnancy. Hmm… so they’ll be about 14-15 months apart? My two older boys are 17 months apart. There are definitely advantages to having them so close together.

  2. what a clever idea with these 2 photos!
i took lots of photos when my boys were babies, but now i have so many more ideas i wish i would have thought about earlier.  oh well.  i guess what i really miss is the whole baby thing (my boys are now 6 and 9).  i did get to hold a 3 month old for about an hour at our homeschool christmas party this morning, so that helped!

  3. Shanda, What a great picture. You look great in both! How fun to have two babies so close together. Hard in the beginning but every so wonderful when they are older. You have so many great helpers too~~Cinnamon

  4. OH, you are both so cute! How fun it is to have brothers and a sister to love on Seth. Bless you and your baby bump baby too. Bob and I held a little 5-6 month old guy at the office Christmas party. We loved holding him. We are looking forward to Grandchildren!!

  5. OMGoodness!!!!! Okay, I guess I am just now REALLY reading your post. I have been horrible about not reading my subs and posting. I can’t believe that you are pregnant! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are such a blessed woman. (probably a tired and worn out blessed woman! LOL)

  6. There is 11 months between Annamarie and Rissy and 17th months between Rissy and Luci. If I can do it (at my “old age”) I know you will be able to handle it, too. You have lots of big helpers that are probably tickled pink and waiting to help! Congrats on making it through month three!

  7. Lovely and poetic here…this miracle we mothers happen or happened to receive: wow. You are a blessed, but also a strong woman for it is such hard work !!! Thank you for teaching gratefulness, joy and hope…Godeliva
