I’m the first commenter on today’s post!? Oh my! I feel special!
It’s a weary day today but we’re heading out for a walk, and as you know, those always make weary days full of sunshine somehow!
I love the ordinary days. There’s only so much surprise and spontanaeity (sp?) I can handle! The notecards are adorable with the little birdie on them. Also, is your son holding an avacado??
I really missed seeing you yesterday 😦 it’s been too long now. I’m glad you’re having a good day, ordinary days are lovely. It’s cloudy and cool, but I sort of like these kinds of days. Take care…love you.
I love ordinary days, especially when it’s cool and gloomy outside. It feels so warm and cozy inside.Your kids look like they were hard at work in school today. 🙂
I had a nice nap this afternoon. I wore myself out this morning! Now, I’m just relaxing while the kids finish their naps. Dave is hoeing up the front flower bed to plant some daffodils. 🙂
Is that Martin Luther in the drawing – nailing the 99 thesis to the church door? I loved your pictures. I really have to take some of my girls…we should go get their pictures done again to send out to family at Christmas since they don’t get their school photos. I’ll have to see if I can take one of my own.
I’m at work at my ordinary/unordinary kind of day.
Love You!
I love the picture of your window, and all the lovely things in it. Your almost-nine-year-old is a beauty! We’ve had a good day which included the library, the quilt shop, and Bethany’s homemade brownies (the ones Rich said are dangerous, or something to that effect). Daddy will be home in a couple hours and then our happy family will be complete!
it looks cozy there and homey and I think that’s marvelous. 🙂 not such an ordinary day here these days… though they are becoming more ordinary ~ me in bed, children coming to me instead of me going to them. Did make it out for two hours to my sister in laws this evening – just hardly, but did – to celebrate my wonderful husband’s birthday. blessings – oh, thought of you yesterday as I saw my very own fall leaves! not the colors you have there, but nevertheless, yellows and such 🙂
Thanks for sharing the beauty of “ordinary!” Jacob was looking at this post with me and saw Caleb’s truck. “That’s MY dumptruck Mom!” Yes. We have that same truck. Ours looks just as loved as yours!
@down_onthefarm – That’s been the #1 BEST truck that we’ve owned (for 11 years now!). All of the boys have loved pushing it around (the handles on the sides are so convenient for them). It’s shown up in many photos through the years. So cool that you have the same one. 🙂
Loved the reminder that an ordinary day is a great one! Spending time with the kids, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. God has blessed me greatly!
