Forgive me for being confused, but I thought you were homeschooling. Maybe I missed a post somewhere. What an eventful day! Have a good day little one. You look so good in the picture of the four of you. I see the little hand on your tummy and I wonder what Caleb was saying to his new little baby brother or sister.
Awww!!! He looks so grown up It must have been so hard to send him off, but, I will be praying that God will give you peace and comfort today – rest in the promise that he will give you all the strength you need to make it through the day. He will be home before you know it, and you have trusted him to the hands of such a loveing and powerful Father!!!
I love the picture of you, Rich, and Davy-do {that IS David, right?? I admit that I sometimes get your boy’s names mixed up }
@thankful4Him2 – I am homeschooling Jacob, Ethan, and Grace—-the three of them all went to a private school for their first few years, and David is also going to school (public) to learn the basics, and to get help with his speech. I plan on homeschooling him when he starts 2nd grade.
Sweet pictures — be prepared to listen when he gets off the bus!!! I’m sure he will have lots to tell you about his teacher, new friends, his room, etc.! Trusting this will be a great experience for all of you.
Oh my goodness – Davey is ADORABLE! If you cried watching that bus retreat down the road, I don’t blame you one bit! Shanda, you are looking GREAT!!! Keep us posted on how you are feeling…
Awww! I forget, does he go to school all day or half-day? Did you cry??? 🙂 I’m sure he was super excited to get on that bus. I hope the homeschooling day goes well, too.
Aww… I somehow especially liked the last picture of the bus leaving…marking a new phase. My youngest daughter starts her first day of college classes today in another state… they grow up fast.. but you are doing so well to make the most of the precious years you have with your kids.
awww.. there he goes!!! LOVE the shot of him climbing on the bus – he looks so small! and yet like he feels so big and proud of himself! =Dthe shot of you and him w/ daddy and little brother w/ his hand on your belly is precious! that’s the first i’ve seen of your baby bump – and you look just perfectly adorable!!~ i remember coming home from my first day of kindergarten and my mom had made chocolate chip cookies and put them on a pretty little plate on my bed… we sat there eating cookies and talking all about my big day ~ a tradition we kept up for years! =D i’m sure you’ll be starting some after school traditions around there too.. =D wishing you a sweet day.friend~ !
Are you okay mommy? These were lovely pictures but I know that this had to be just a little hard even with that happy little face all set for his adventure. I’ll say an extra prayer for you all today with hugs and love in SC
I’m getting in here late – hope he had a wonderful first day of school, and I know that you survived, even though I’m sure you thought about him the WHOLE time he was gone!!!! Suz
My heart strings are being pulled 🙂 ~ yet, it’s a good thing when we let go for their good ~blessings to you in this week ~ you look beautiful and I can see that new baby oh so tiny bit but what a wonderful thing ~
