Mother’s Day 2008
My arms are full.
When I was a school girl I was often asked the question, “What are you going to be when you grow up?” I always said that I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. And look what God did. . ..he gave me the life I always wanted.
I’m just so content. I just ate a yummy breakfast made for me by my husband, I’m sitting here in my robe, and I’m grinning. Just like in the photo.
I praise God for the life He has given me.
***********
My mom was a wonderful example to me. She is the reason why my heart is so content at home, being a wife, and mothering my children.
Happy Mother’s Day
“My soul shall be satisfied as with
marrow and fatness:
and my mouth shall praise thee
with joyful lips.” Psalms 63:3-5

. . . and a Happy Mother’s Day to you, too ~
God surely is the giver of good gifts – hope your day is wonderful! ~Colleen~

oh, and I love the quilt background too!
Happy Mother’s Day Shanda! You have been truly blessed with arrows in your quiver. Have another great year being their mother and enjoying all the fun things you dream up to do with them.
My arms and heart are full as well. . .I actually got around to posting yesterday instead of just blogging in my head like I usually do. I love your pictures. . .how did you get that header up at the top?? My boys do NOT like to have their pictures taken, so I was fortunate to get the one nice one I got out in front of our flowers. My second son, Nate (age 7), just really hates pictures, but he’s so cute and I keep telling him to get use to it!! Yesterday was bliss, having the day off, enjoying time alone and with the kids having fun. . .now today is back to work—grocery shopping with the little ones, helping the big ones w/homework, baseball game with Sam (9), but I LOVE IT ALL, even the day in and day out stuff of life. . .wouldn’t trade my life for the world. Happy Belated Mother’s Day to you—
Happy belated Mothers Day! It looks sounds like it was a wonderful one!!! I love the pictures! What a blessing!!! I wish I would have gotten pictures…oh, well…still recovering from my surgery and not so quick on the thinking still! Hahaha!!! Your children are adorable and you are as well! :o) Cute hair! I did read your other post about Rich liking your hair back…Jason is somewhat the same way…he says he likes to see all of my face and see my eyes better! :o) Our husbands are so sweet aren’t they! OH, how we have been so blessed! What an amazing thing God has created for us to all share in! Family!!!
