  3. I enjoy your posts so much, Shanda!  Thank YOU for all the pictures and thoughts that you share!  I’m sorry your morning has been rough.  As a homeschooling mom of 5, I can empathize!  Praying for you right now.

  4. What an adorable photo!  And dear Shanda ~ eat some chocolate and drink something hot and yummy.  Get your camera and go for a walk ~ look for sunshine ~ blessings on the rest of your day.  Thanks for the comeuppance ~ I need to say thank-you to my commenters too ~

  5. So sorry you’re having one of “those” days. Ainsley and David are so much alike. She does the same thing… and she will repeat the same thing over and over again until I go crazy. Anyway, I hope they are nice and still during today’s “quiet” time and you get some much needed rest and relaxation… so you can re-group for the rest of the day. 🙂

  6. Must be something in the air dear friend. I have been pulling my hair out for 2 days now. Fussy baby, grumpy toddler, whiney preschooler and 5 more yelling for my attention. Praying for you

  7. Dearest Shanda, you bless your children in so many ways, but there is no way you can meet every need. Cry out to our Father, he knows their needs and will help you raise them in the way they should go. Let go….it’s ok to get frustrated, we all do. Just keep going to HIM with your cares, and share them with us, so we can lift you in prayer. Love and HUGS~ Mary

  8. I enjoy you site (family) so much…. my youngest daughter is the same way….”mommy, moMMY, MOMMY, are you listening????” all day, sometimes she doesn’t even finish one sentence and she’s starting another…. I love her so!!! Your Caleb is truly “delicious” that is the absolute best word to describe him.I agree with Fwren…. have some hot tea and chocolate, blessing for your friday evening and your weekend!!!

  9. Thanks for being such a sweet friend.  Today has been a CRAZY day, and I do not exaggerate (at least not right now…).  I know how you feel (kind of…I only have 2 kids instead of 5, so I KNOW it’s different!).  I hope your afternoon went alright.  Enjoy your time with your husband tonight; that’s EXACTLY  what I’m gonna do…if the stupid hospital ever lets him leave.  Yes, I have a case of the grumps as well!

  10. thanks to you as well for the inspiring site!  And sorry about the grumpies…sorta hit this household too….maybe the weather? but considering the fact we live so far away, we’ll blame it on the moon phase…=)  Happy Weekend~

  11. Oh, you had a “Jonah Day”!!!  Just like Anne and Diane!  I’m so sorry.  I’d say something clever and encouraging, but …nothing comes to mind that will ease your heart.  Just keep breathing…-Alesha

  12. Those kind of days do come once in a while. Mine always seemed to have something to do with the calendar, if you know what I mean! :- ) Be good and kind to yourself, my dear. You have so many little people pulling on you all the time, and the majority of the time you handle it with grace and joy. YOu are amazing! Sometimes you just need to give yourself a little break. Hire a sitter or take the kids to Grandma’s or something! Take an afternoon to encourage yourself in your body, soul and spirit. You can’t keep pouring out if you are not being filled.

  13. I get those kind of days too…the kind where you just want to shut yourself in your room and cry, pray and sleep.  But you can’t because your the mommy.  Just know that I love you and know what kind of days those are like.  God does too.  He has them all the time with us His children.  We are out of sorts all the time.
Love You and will see you in 9 days! ~Col

  14. Oh my!  Those days were soooo frequent in my house when my kiddos were younger….  They are very trying indeed!!  But it sounds like you make the most of it.  You sound like a GREAT mommy!!!  I absolutely love that photo.  He’s adorable!!
Thanks for stopping by my site and for your kind words!!  I never expected such a reaction from those photos.  I suppose we really take the grandeur and beauty of the falls for granted.  Although I must confess – I did have a BLAST seeing them from up in the tower.  That was a first for me.  And also seeing them lit up.
