if it isn't one thing it's another

Yesterday I went upstairs just in time to see a disappointed, crying 4-year old throw his toothbrush and yell, “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!”

“What, what?”  I asked.

“Someone ruined my toothbrush!” he cried.

I bent down and picked it up.  To my surprise, it looked like this:

Pretty startling, isn’t it?

Hubby and I laughed so hard when I reenacted it for him.  The little guy’s passionate reaction to his deformed and mangled toothbrush was so funny.  Now, WHO ON EARTH would do such a thing????  see Feb.18 (posting calendar) for answer

  1. LOL -That is so funny!!!  Do you know how it happened!?  My first thought would be a cat or dog.  But then again, my curling iron has done a number to several items that had the misfortune of getting too close…

  2. That is pretty funny!  I can see my own “playful puppy” doing that.  He drives me nuts!  I love those pictures of your children!  I’m sure I have already told you, but I just think they are so beautiful!  Makes me excited to have my own…in a little while.

  3. Oh my goodness! I thought at first someone had tried to sharpen it in a pencil sharpener. Then I remembered, you have a dog now. I am thinking that your dog has the cleanest teeth in the neighborhood…. 🙂

  4. LOL Oh Trott, you naughty doggy.  I can just see David reacting that way, because it’s exactly how Alex would react.  Hehe.

  5. Don’t you just love the surprises that come from owning a pet…We have had numerous things like that around our house.  Thankfully Blizzard is not as chew happy as Diddy was.
Thanks for the laugh – Col

  6. Ha, ha, ha!!! That’s hilarious!:):) Love the picture and especially love the reaction from your son!
How are you doing? I hope your week is going well!
    Blessings to you,
    Jana

  7. That is so funny…..I laughed so hard. I could just imagine his reaction! I was taken by surprise too when i scrolled down and looked at the picture of the toothbrush!! Maybe the dog wants his teeth brushed too…lol!
I’m happy that your mom is alright….Praise God!
Well have a great day today…take care.

  8. Something with four legs?  Too cute!  Poor David.  I’m glad to here about your Mom doing well.  Thank you for your comments on my post.  They were very encouraging!  Love you!

  9. WOW – your xanga is quite incredible.  It was listed on the front page as “recently updated” so I took a look.  You truly blessed me today.  Looking thru your photos – scriptures, etc.  God has given you a wonderful gift!!  (And that you find time to update so often with 5 children is quite impressive!!!)  Wanted to thank you for theexerts from your pen-pals letter.  The one in particular that hit home was:
“If I could live my life over I would work harder when I was young instead of being so world crazy–and would have been nicer to Roger all the years we were married.  We had a great life but now he is gone, I wish I had done so much more, he was so good.”

My husband is “terminal” and sometimes I get frustrated with the disabilities and the diseases thus getting frustrated with him …. the above statement hit a little too close to home…. Thanks for a nice remember that life on earth really isn’t forever!  God Bless You!
