For you see, each day I love you more

Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.

Hello, dear friends!  What a beautiful day it is here, at our place.  I had to go get the dog earlier (boy does he pull my arm) and while I was outside I saw a cardinal couple over in the trees by the pond.  The sound of birdsong is in the air as spring approaches, the sun is shining and the sky is the bluest blue.  Chilly; probably in the lower 40’s.  Refreshing.  I said hello to the stream and checked the ponds for ice–a very thin layer.

I went grocery shopping this morning, we were all out of milk.

Seth called my necklace a “neck up”.

Grace and Ethan brought home progress reports yesterday, what nice grades they are getting!  So proud.

Rich gets to go on the cooperate jet tomorrow.

I bought him a Valentine card today.

I wore Jacob’s jacket outside when I got the dog and it smelled like a man (he wears cologne!).

Why do teenage boys not like to wear coats or jackets?

Caleb’s tooth was so loose that last night I pinned him to the floor and pulled it out.  David was very uncomfortable and ran downstairs so he didn’t have to watch.  Caleb said, “I can’t believe you did that!”  I laughed and hugged him, “I knew it wouldn’t hurt, that’s why I did it.” I explained.  He carried his tooth around for about an hour and then lost it someplace.

20 month old baby girls are a delight.  I made the dress (now a shirt) for her last year for Valentine’s day.  I took the pictures of her today.  She loves her blankie.  And that finger.

Happy Thursday afternoon!  xoxo

  1. She is beyond adorable. Certainly brings a smile. That is funny that you held Caleb down and pulled out his tooth. I have a little man that recently would not pull out a tooth either. I have a huge aversion to teeth though, so I would NOT be able to do that! Since you mentioned it, I do remember that shirt being a dress last year! Amazing.

  2. She is so sweet. Malachi like his two fingers, it is so cute, that is how he settles himself.Go mom! That is so funny how you pinned Caleb and got the tooth. I like hearing how it looks around your place. It is hot and sunny here today. I have a cold, but will try to go water the garden.

  3. Our Nicholas lost another tooth this morning! He has about 4 wiggly ones in there and finally my dear husband held him down and popped one out. Nicholas was amazed. We all cheered and danced around the living room! Such fun. My little dcg Shea sucks on two of her fingers. So adorable.

  4. Pretty little girl! I love that I can reuse dresses for shirts or bigger shirts for dresses for my daughter! Wishing it was as easy to fit my boys – jeans and shoes grow too small way too fast! :)We are bracing ourselves for another bitterly cold weekend 😦 It has been a mild winter, and it seems Spring should be here soon :), but we every few days we get a reminder it’s still Winter.I love how much you enjoy your children! I’m reminded to cherish each day with them cause they grow up soo fast.

  5. She is SUCH a little dolly!!!  Adorable!I can’t believe she is 20 months old already. If you figure out why teenage boys don’t like to wear coats or jackets, let me know. We often have that issue over here. šŸ˜‰
