These delicious muffins are made with honey and heavy cream. The recipe also calls for vegetable oil, but you could use butter instead (like I did). Yum. We all liked them very much.

The picture is making want to eat them! The sun steaming in on the yellow fiesta….so pretty. Thanks for sharing, maybe I’ll make them to go with dinner tonight. =)
Butter instead of corn oil? Always a better choice! And with honey and heavy cream—I’ll be right over : ). Hope you have a beautiful day in Connecticut.
Looks good. I just made blueberry muffins for breakfast this morning 🙂
I’ve always liked corn muffins. My mom always made them with chicken. Have a beautiful day!

hi shanda…….these look great – i just printed out the recipe. i made some muffins today too! they are called “easy rolls” from one of paula deen’s cookbooks. yes, we had the opportunity to travel to savannah a couple years ago and eat at her restaurant. yum, yum, and yum!! if you’re interested here’s the recipe. and yes, they really are easy and super quick in a pinch when you’re looking for something to add to your dinner.
EASY ROLLS
1 cup self-rising flour (OR just use regular flour plus 1 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1/2 tsp salt)
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp sugar
2 Tbls mayonnaise
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together flour and milk. Add sugar and mayonnaise. Roll into 6 balls and place in greased muffin pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Of course you will have to double the recipe!!
@connie – Thank you so much! I think it is very fun that you shared a recipe and I will be sure to try it!
