I was so happy when I finally got these two little projects done and mailed out for a friend’s new baby girl.  I found both patterns online for free.  Here are the links:

  1. Oh, that SWEET lily of the valley fabric!!!! What a dear gift…..but when, my dear, do YOU find time to SEW??? It would seem that women just MUST create….it’s an inner urge that will not be denied. I guess we create time to create, don’t we?

  2. They turned out perfect!! What a great gift… any Mommy would be thrilled to get that as a present πŸ™‚ Thank you so much for the links. I wanted to make some of those little infant shoes for a friend that just had a baby. Great job Shanda!!

  3. I had this, or a similar pattern years ago when my girls were little, and I have been looking for it every since! I want to make some little smocks for my grand daughter. THANK YOU!!!!!!

  4. Oh my what ADORABLE fabric!! Where did you find it? It is so retro and sweet! I love lily of the valley. You did a fabulous job! I am sure your friend will cherish this little outfit for years to come.

  5. Hello Shanda~ Yes I love them too!! I have put the cute little shoes on Rosie. They are so easy to slip on and off. Thank you!! I will take a picture of her this week for you. The fabric is beautiful and I feel so blessed by your lovely gift. You are a dear dear friend!! Thank you!!~Cinnamon

  6. hi shanda…….cute, cute, cute!  your friend is lucky to have a thoughtful and talented friend like you!  that fabric is just perfect, too, like a mix between modern and vintage.

  7. Shanda, I was just looking at the pattern for the infant shoes, and I had a few quick questions for you (if you don’t mind me pestering you for a minute ). What did you use for the soles? Did you find any of that bonded fleece? I was also just wondering what you thought of the pattern overall? Did it go together pretty smoothly? I’m thinking about making a few this weekend if I can spare the time :)Oh! One last question (I promise) you wouldn’t happen to know the name of the fabric you used for that darling outfit? I think it is just perfect, and I’d love to get my hands on some! Thanks, April
