  1. Those hands are all so sweet, holding onto yours. It’s so hard to let go! One year for Mother’s Day my Sarah made me a cross-stitch with that saying on it, surrounded by pictures of me with each of the children, doing something fun. I, of course, still have it hanging on the wall where I see it and read it and remember whatever we were doing in those pictures…every day. It’s been years since I let go, but you can be sure I do still hold their hearts…of that I will never let go….

  2. @mytoesareblue – I spent some time thinking about what I personally craved and needed for myself that day, as a mom…and these pictures of me holding the hands of each of the children make me cry.  I love them all so much.  It’s been a long time since I held my oldest’s hand, and it still felt right and I didn’t want to let go.  🙂
