My first little patch of daffodils were in full bloom on Monday. Caleb found Seth picking one and tattled on him, because he also wanted to be able to do it. “You may pick two, Caleb,” I said as I went to get something from the house. Next thing I knew, they were ALL picked. When I said “two”, he had heard “too”.
The Peter Rabbit mug was something I found at a second hand store. I have a soft spot for anything Beatrix Potter.

I love Beatrix Potter and Winne the pooh…I am looking forward to a new generation to read them to. Sunny daffodils,in a sweet cup. Dear little boys
Daffodils are one of my favorites! They are just so bright and cheerful.
For my daily coffee or tea, I collect thrift store mugs that have the classic shape and classy, slightly quirky character. It can be a challenging hobby. Most thrift mugs are either very dated-looking, glaringly cheesy or gaudy in shape and color, or merely served as a place to print a dull company logo. This one, in my opinion, is a great find. Those old Beatrix Potter illustrations are timelessly classic and have great vintage/collector kitsch resale value, too. 🙂
