Davy’s comic book

DSC_0710

Inspired by all the “Garfield” comic books, Davy decided to write his own.  He’s been working on it “for a year” but just recently showed it to me.  It’s pages and pages of drawings and dialogue.  I loved it from first glance.  I’m a proud Mama.

I’ve had a very busy Monday morning and just took an hour doze on the couch with Sarah playing on the floor nearby.  I’m painfully sleepy!  Guess what put me over the edge?  Reading Curious George Rides a Bike to a warm and snuggly Caleb.  I yawned all the way through it.  I’m sure other mamas can relate.

In a few hours the children have their singing classes and then Jacob and Ethan have baseball practice.

Hope your day is going well.  (hugs)  You are loved.

  1. Wow, what a long time project for him. That is amazing. I love childrens art, it speaks volumes by itself. Be blessed {{{{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}}}}

  2. ..and you should be proud! those are some super sweet kiddos you’ve got – and talented too! love that title. :)it’s a sleepy monday here as well. hope you get in another little snooze, or two 🙂 later on.

  3. I could use a nap, but just took a break from office work to see who recently blogged. I love his comic book. Make sure you keep it in his “archive box” when he is finished. I just found a drawing by our forty-six year old when he was nine. It was titled “Jeff’s Trucking”. I love it because today he is a truck driver.
