Jacob is making spaghetti and fooling around with Ethan in the kitchen.
Rich is on his way home from a busy day at work.
David and Caleb are playing outside.
Seth is playing with toys.
The sun is starting to shine after several days of rain and clouds and chill.
I’m tired but content….tomorrow is Friday, we made it through the week, always only by the grace of God.
It’s been a wonderful week with our precious new baby, with ups and downs, smiles and tears, sleep and no sleep, hugs and kisses, and the first diaper blow-out.
All good!

oh so sweet!! LOL, love that last pic. I was just thinking…oh Shanda needs a new header. I would say that first shot of everyone is perfect! All the kids, summer on the porch with the green trees in the background, and baby Sarah in her sister’s arms.
Precious baby girl and siblings!!! What a blessing!!!!!!!!

Your daughter reminds me so much of Rachel Hurd-Wood
Sarah is beautiful! I have been busy myself and have not been able to read through all of my Xanga friends posts…….so I missed the birth of Sarah, but I wanted to say Congrats!! So glad that everything went well. Great photos of the kiddos! Love the Fiesta Bowl Sarah. : )
I love the pictures! Your baby daughter is absolutely precious!
I’m so glad to hear things are going well. Sarah is beautiful. It’s so sweet to see Grace taking care of her as the older boys helped to take care of Seth. π Grace looks so proud of her.
hi shanda……….doesn’t sarah look like a little snuggle bunny! too sweet. what does seth think of it all??
My heart swells with delight and joy, thanking God for little Sarah and your generosity in sharing your family with us!She is gorgeous!
Beautiful photos! The pic of Sarah in the mixing bowl is TOO funny! I’m glad it is going well. Just remember to rest as much as you can! And yes, where would ANY of us be without His wonderful grace?
So glad you got the “baby in the bowl” picture! She is pretty. I’m still praying that you find time to catch up on rest and aren’t plagued with baby blues like you’ve been in the past.Hugs!
The first photo = great new header! All the I. kids are so beautiful and vibrant looking. I was struck by how much Davy has grown in this new group pic!The pictures of Sarah – PRICELESS. She is too precious for words, and that first picture of her smiling on the floral backdrop made my heart melt! I just want to reach out and take her! This morning I visited my former neighbor and first friend I made when I moved here, Jessica, and brought over a meal and saw her newborn baby for the first time. Now I can’t wait to hold my own! 2 – 2 1/2 more months to go!
Baby in the bowl helps one “see” how a baby must fit in the womb and why the shape it makes. π Little Sarah is so pretty.
Oh, so cute!!!!!!!!! I love her! She’s beautiful! What sweet memories you are making!
I love the faces, dear Shanda, but do you know what I love most of all? Grace’s HANDS. They look like they are full of love.
These pictures are precious! I love the last one.
Dear Shanda, beautiful pictures of your precious children. Isn’t it fun to have another woman come visit you…yes, you should sit and relax as much as you can…also the men of the house love to help out under your directions for sure. I love the photos of the two sisters !Be well and enjoy, dear friend.Lieve groetenGodeliva van Ariadone
What kissable little lips. Love that last picture. So good to see Grace with a sister.
You have some great pictures. I love the first one. That could be your new header:)
wonderful!
Oh, the miracle of babies.
Beautiful! I hope you are having a great weekend! I smiled when I saw Sarah in the bowl! I find myself counting the kids whenever you post all of them together!IS Caleb wearing a back pack? I like Seth’s wrists folding back, and Sarah all wrapped up like a taco!
Just got on your site and realize you have had the baby! What a perfect little girl! I am so happy for you and for Grace to have a sister! Our daughters are 12 years apart with three brothers between but there’s a special bond between “sisters”. God bless you all.
