As a lover of Christ, my heart, mind, and soul are filled with hope and expectation for the New Year ahead.  I know that God will lead, and take care of me, my family, and my friends, every step of the way.

Happy 2010!  May each you grow abundantly in love and grace through Christ.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, HE IS A NEW CREATURE:  OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD ALL THINGS BECOME NEW.  11 Corinthians 5:17

  1. What a great wrap-up of 2009. :)β€œThis is what the LORD saysβ€” he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, “… See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”- Isaiah 43:16, 18-19

  2. Love that.  Laughed at the picture with the boys and the crayon “mess”.  Looks like something that might happen around here…LOL. (I’m sure it wasn’t too funny at the time though).  Blessings on your new year!!!

  3. The picture with your son and the pumpkin and the one with your daughter against the tree … and the one with the duck, are so adorable – they will appreciate those cute pictures when they’re older. 6 kids? That must be a handful and a blessing all in one!

  4. I enjoyed the pictures. I totally agree that we can look forward with joy and anticipation in our hearts, because, as that old song says, “Many things about tomorrow I don’t seem to understand. But I know Who holds the future, and I know He holds my hand!” Happy 2010!

  5. I enjoyed looking at your year in review and liked seeing the photos you chose, I just put up a picture with the hand towel and the pencils! πŸ™‚ Thank you we all love them!I like the shot of the kids looking down at the fish the best.

  6. Oh that is beautiful! I lol’ed at your homeschooling books and papers spread out over the table and the laundry off in the corner. –” It takes one to know one.” :o) What a memories you have here! As I look over you pictures and see what the Lord has given to you this past year, it’s exciting to think that the year 2010 will bring a new baby and new memories! So happy for you! Thank you for sharing, Shanda! Hey! maybe this will also be the year that we can all get together! :o)

  7. @Becky – That picture makes me laugh, too, did you notice my empty coffee cup, the taste of home magazine (what will I make for dinner?!?!) and the grocery items I was too busy to put away?  Hey, at least I had a candle burning in the middle of all that!  xoxo
