I’ve missed blogging sooooooo much!

Dear friends,

I’m very excited to be sitting here typing again!  Rich and I set the computer up last night and all during this extremely busy day I’ve been looking forward to putting up my first post after an absence of two months!

How can it be that next Wednesday begins another school year and that this is our last week of summer vacation?  I just sat and looked through all the photographs that I took in the past few months, and as I did, a smile appeared on my face.  Yes, it’s been a lovely summer.  Nothing very amazing, just a nice, family summer with many sweet memories made and many just plain ordinary busy days of managing my home. (ups and downs and all)

I thought taking away TV and computer would give me a feeling of “more time”….but now I can say that we quickly adjusted to a new schedule and very soon I was wondering where that “more time” went!

I will be working on putting up a post very soon of my favorite pictures and stories from the summer.  In the meantime, here are a few photos that I took today.

As you can see, we now have chickens! (13 of them!)

  14. Welcome back! I was wondering where you’d gone since I was gone when you decided to take a break. šŸ™‚ Sounds like you’ve had a good fun summer! I think we spend entirely too much time on electronic.

  15. it’s so good to have you back. . . ! To fill you in on what you missed on gracenglory75. . . Daddy God graced us with another miracle but we were completely unaware of our little blessing until he was about 12 weeks along due to crazy cycles that come with our infertility, which kept me from realizing I was expecting. At approx 12 weeks (July 13th) our lil one’s safe cacoon–my fallopian tube–ruptured taking his life and almost taking mine. Daddy-God spared me via my OB’s gifted hands in a surgery that I am still recovering from. I lost my tube and ovary which I am grieving, along with losing a much longed-for baby (you know I long for a house full of children). HIS grace has carried us though and I am doubly aware of just how much our children are really HIS. Nathaniel, as we named the baby, is living in heaven, while Daddy-god continues to let us take care of Miracle here on earth. There is more to the story on back posts of my blog, but I know you have many readers and can’t take the time to read them, so I wanted to fill you in on here, since I still periodically reference our loss. Again, it’s SO good to see you back. I prayed for you all summer long, just as I promised. šŸ™‚

  16. Yay,yay, yay!! Missed your blog so much and I will look forward to hearing and seeing more.  Everyone looks fabulous.  I love Calebs hair…though he does look like he is growing older, and Grace looks so beautiful.  I am in Colorado and just hopped on my son’s computer for a few minutes.  I was writing to you today and will have to finish that letter and send it off.  blessings and love to you all!  Jenny

You make Xanga a ‘happy place’! So happy to see you back again! I’m looking forward to hearing how God has blessed your family these past two months! Also, I know you’re friends with Cathi – writersblock1117, and she has been on my heart, and I was wondering if you knew how she has been doing. She hasn’t been on here since May. Maybe she just took the summer away for awhile, too! Well, you, and yours, have a blessed week! ~ Deborah <><
