a hot weekend

DSC_3294 (the picture is of husband this morning, leaving for work)

Last night, after we put the children to bed (who were all worn out and sunburned from a weekend of running wild outdoors), Rich and I turned on the weather channel to see just how high the temps went….and sure enough, 87 degrees broke a 100 year record high for our area.

And how fitting, as the Lord increased the temperature of our marriage this weekend, too.  I just love how God operates.

A lady mustn’t share everything…but let’s just read the title of this post again and *leave it at that*.

  1. HAHAHAHAHAHA Things have been SUPER busy around here lately (buying a house, very ill husband…), and I am sorry that I haven’t been able to comment lately; HOWEVER, know you are in my thoughts and prayers! ❀ ❀ ❀

  2. Wow, he even got the front page of your post this morning, AND he’s smiling!!!  Hahahaha!  Glad you guys had a “hot” weekend!  The only bad part is, it makes saying good bye on Monday morning a little harder! =) Have a great day!

  3. I’m happy to hear that!  Rich looks so happy in the picture above.  Looking at that picture I suddenly could see him in all of the kids facial features.  God is amazing to intertwine two people into their children.  Baffles my mind and I am so in awe of Him today and all the joy He brings to my life.  I love you. 4. Oh, I just had a good giggle over that one! I do see the sunshine in your man’s smile! That’s the bEST picture of him I have ever seen! Love, GAil

  5. OH I get it loud and clear! Gotta love those kind of wk. ends they’re the best! Isn’t it grand that after all these years and many kids later we still have the gift of “Hot Wk. Ends”?

  6. Whateva do you mean? God is honored, and delights in the love between a husband and a wife. I’m so glad you and hubby were blessed. Seems God was doing a whole lotta blessing His people this weekend – we had one long date weekend and it was a balm to our souls.
