Ahhh, but your little pumpkins are so cute. Love that smile on Seth’s face. Oh, just noticed I should have said your cute little pooh bear (I love pooh). Get some rest. I wrote a whole post last night during my free time and lost it all… I hate when that happens!!! OH, WELL…sigh. I will get to it again.
Aw yes…newborns……it takes so much energy…….it always seems it will never ever end and then before you know it they are one and we are pregnant again hehehe and we get to start all over again….I love how you embrace real life and are real about ALL aspects because it is so true of how it is.. Praying for your strengh……Blessings on that sweet new baby!!!
i’m feeling it with you….i have slacked off on so much housework and right now i don’t even care. i’m always thinking about you because you are the only other person i know who has at least as many children as i do. i’ll take some rest too!
Maybe you only have a few weeks left – that was my experience anyways. AND, I remember thinking “a few more weeks” sounded like centuries!Your head may not feel/look so great. But your legs are darling!!!! Love that little Seth smile!Hugs!
Being sick is tough, but when you’re responsible for a newborn and five other young children (and hubby away most of the time), it’s super-tough. I was sick too, this past weekend, it was another moment where I was dying to be able to call my mom or one of my sisters over for some help, you know… Well, I know that rest is easier said than done, but I am praying the Lord will PROVIDE what you need and soothe you with His presence. I just wish I could bring over a pot of chicken soup. ❤
Even though you don’t know me, please know I will be praying for you. My heart goes out to you. Praying for the Lord to give you super natural strength, energy and peace to do all He has called you to do. Praying your body is fully rested by the sleep you are able to get. Praying for peace to fill your home, and make things easier than usual. Oh, and with this 6th one on the way for me, being so sick and having more to do than time to do it, I hired two ladies to come clean my house every other week. That has been a BIG help!!! Maybe pray about something like that to ease some of your responsibilities. Just a thought. Blessings!!! ~ Deborah
I think it’s something in the air (along with the fact that you are a new mom with 6 children and a husband who works long hours!!!). I felt that way yesterday. I just wanted the world to stop for a couple hours so I could rest. I have twins that are potty training, work night shift and am a MOM. Praying that you get some restorative sleep soon!!!
Shanda, Banda wish I was there, I will tell you what I would do, I would do your dishes and the laundry (mark of a true friend) and maybe even clean the bathroom, that depends on if the boys have good aim, if they don’t I would get them to do it! 🙂 and I would fix dinner something comforting like soup I would take the kids outside and tuck you into bed with a great book. And I would say “there there” as many times as you needed to hear it.
Love you!
Today is Wednesday, you are beautiful, your children are beautiful, your handsome hubby sounds like a great hubby and daddy, you are the daughter of the KING and maybe, just maybe, you’ll get more sleep soon! Love, Gail
