I don’t have much time to blog, as I sit here I feel rushed to get on with the next activity….to eat my lunch!
Our weekend was nice and it felt great to get out of the house. We ran errands on Saturday and made it out to church on Sunday. I loved going to church and seeing my church family. I held Seth through the service and tried to pay attention to the sermon.
Every one agreed that he looked like he belonged to our family.
Here are some family pictures from the weekend, and this morning. None of them are staged, these were moments too cute to pass up, moments when we said, “Where’s the camera?!?!” so we could capture the memory.
Davy and Seth. Grace’s knee, my hand. During “admiring the baby time”.
Whenever I place Seth on the floor, a sibling soon joins him.
Grace thought it was cute that Seth got a hold of her hair.
I thought Grace made a pretty picture as she worked on emptying the dishwasher.
She has to climb in order to do her job.
Rich took this one. The look on Caleb’s, I mean Seth’s, face makes us laugh.
He’s learning to hold his head up over my shoulder tall and strong.
He’s soooooooooooo cute!
More snow. Rich worked from home yesterday and David had no school.
Oh wait, this next one is staged. LOL
This quilt came in the mail yesterday.
It was made for him by his Great Grandma, who is in her 90’s.
When will my baby sleep longer than 3 hours at a time?
When I get up at night (two times still) I am half asleep.
I took this next picture this morning, when I was awake enough to notice Seth’s my little piggy’s face.
His dirtiness made me laugh and it’s obvious he’s happy/content with his “midnight” meals.
Here is Seth after he got cleaned up.
David visited him during “blanket time” and introduced him to BUZZ LIGHTYEAR.
This is the back of Seth’s new quilt. I love the frog/turtle theme. Perfect for my boy.
Davy adores little Seth.
Thanks for stopping by my blog for a visit.
How are you all doing?
Much love, ~Shanda

Great pics! The quilt is awsome. Have a great day ~A
Seth is just growing so much! He certainly is adorable! It looks as if you are all enjoying these first days/months. My they fly! I love the blanket – so sweet. And as always, I love your photos. Have a blessed day.
Lots of sweet lovin’ goin’ over there, I can tell!
You certainly can tell that Seth is one of the family. Such a cutie! The picture of him smiling, crusty breast milk and all nearly broke my heart – so so sweet! I hope you find some time to rest today. (((HUGS)))
I enjoyed these pictures very much! The new quilt is adorable. I thought of you on Sunday and wondered if you all made it to church. Nice to see that my kids aren’t the only ones who climb on the counters. LOL!
What sweet pictures – Seth cetainly is getting big!! The quilt is beautiful! Enjoy the snow and have a great day.
Lol, my son woke up every 2 hours until he was over 1 year old!!!!!!! He had acid reflux and didn’t eat well during the day. He was more relaxed and ate better at night so I let him for toooooo long!
Aw….what a true boy- already has food all over his face. š Too sweet. Keep your eyes peeled for a little box coming to Mr. Seth. š
I’ve been watching the Eastern snow storm and thought of you often. Seth holding his head up is a PERFECT picture. Your children are all beautiful. Annamarie empties my dishwasher and can reach NONE of the upper cupboards. I just let her stack plates, bowls, coffe mugs, etc. on the counter beneath the cupboard and put them up myself. I don’t trust her to be as sure-footed as Grace!
Hi Shanda! In spite of how busy/tired you must be, you still manage to post a note and pictures, delighting your readers! What a CUTE picture of Seth on your shoulder; alert and excitedly looking at the camera. The picture of Grace and Seth is cute too, with him holding her hair. I love the contented smile on her face. Sweet. I pray for you often and want you to know that some of that prayer happens in the middle of the night when i can’t get back to sleep! Love, Gail
Thanks for sharing the pictures, Seth is getting big fast. Makayla loved the picture with Buzz in it. The quilt is so cute. I hope you have a great day enjoying that wonderful family. š Love, Melissa
I smiled the whole way through this post – as “Who’ll Be My Pretty Little Baby” played. I love that song.
Thanks for the “soup.” cute pictures!
He is so cute!!! Lucy is still getting up twice…she was doing great until she got reflux. Now she can’t get back into her rhythm! I feed her around 8pm, she sleeps until 1-2 and then gets up about 4-5. I wish she would sleep longer if I fed her at 11, but she doesn’t, so I just leave her alone after the 8pm feeding. I’m so tired today, so there is definitely a nap in my near future! But lunch must come first!!!
I LOVE the quilt!! The great grandma is very talented!
The dried on milk face is priceless!!
I’m guessing you havent had time to read my blogs:) so I
ll just tell you we are a well and super busy! Today I’m making roll out cookies with the little kids and then we’ll decorate them for a snack when the older children get home from school. Also my baby is sleeping better now….thankyou Lord!

have a great day dear internet friend!!
Aww…such great pics!

I guess Seth’s little tummy just needs filling every three hours! I know some swear by giving them a little baby cereal at bedtime saying that it seems to “stay with them” longer than breast milk. I never found this worked with my second child. She did not consistently sleep through the night until she was nine months old! Still, I got a lot of singing and praying done in the wee hours. I wonder if it was stored in her spiritual bank or anything like that. I leave for the U.S. in just 14 days and am trying to get a quilt finished for my soon-coming grandson. It’s coming along, but I also have so many other things to get done!
Adorable pictures! That milky smile, looking over the shoulder, with Grace, and Davy holding him up are especially cute. I love the “admiring the baby time”. We used to put David in the middle of the table on a blanket during dinner. He was happy just being part of the group and would stop fussing so we could eat. What a table centerpiece! I know you have so much to do…but remember your rest is high priority. Lord bless you! Jenny
He is growing so quickly! I wish that I had a little one to hold again!
No doubt you are busy…Thanks for the picture post!
enjoyed your pictures, and yes, Seth definitely fits in the family…..=) cute, cute….love the little milk mouth….
I loved all of the pictures….and our talk on Sunday! Hope to see you soon. Also I don’t know if you saw the pictures of our last day in FL at the lighthouse…it was a couple of posts ago.
Love You!
I LOVED seeing you on Sunday and getting close to the Seth man. He’s so sweet, I can’t wait to get a chance to hold him. I love the little smirk he has on his face, and I love the picture of him with Buzz. Alex is leaning on my shoulder and said “Maybe Buzz really can fly?” So cute. Now he’s reading this as I type it (Can you believe our little boys are reading???) I hope you have a great afternoon, love you!
My girls didn’t sleep for any long period of time at night for a looooooong time. Love his little milk face!
Such precious pictures….Love them all….
Wonderful pictures of your little Seth — David looks like he really has a new best friend! And that is cute of him holding Grace’s hair!
Awww! I love the pictures!! Wow, that blanket is great. I love the turtle. š Did I mention the word love yet? Maybe its the baby pictures. Babies bring out the “wuv” in me. š Sleep? What is this word sleep? I used to know that word. Now what’s it mean again??? š Just kidding ya. Hang in there and remember they don’t stay small for long. I keep reminding myself this while potty training our puppy. But for entirely different reasons. LOL!!!
It looks like David loves little Seth:) I like that quilt, it is so pretty!
awww. that’s a beautiful turtle quilt!
I loved the pic’s of the kids with Seth. David looks so in love with him. The quilt is amazing. How awesome for each of your kids to have a quilt from her. You’ll have to do a photo of all of them together again like you did in the past. It’s amazing how quickly Seth is growing. Things are going good here. I love you, Elisha
OH major melts. What darlings all. I held my breath and sighed and giggled and sighed some more. Yes I promise Seth will not always sleep only three hours at a time, you will feel human again. Lap up every little bit. This really is the best of times, the best of smiles, and snow, and sighs and all. love you!
adorable!!
I MUST hold him!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, is he ever cute!!! I love the big eyed picture, his milky mouth as well as him laying on the blanket. You’ve gotta frame that one! He is the spitting image of your boys. I think God used the same recipe on all of them. Thanks for visiting me this morning. :o)
He is adorable, and your’e right so strong to be holding his head up like that. The colors and pattern of the quilt are really creative, she did such a good job!
the shot of Seth w/ his turtle blanket..LOVE it! the look on his face like,”what is this thing!” just cracks me up. what a treasure from his g.grandma!! each one of my kids have a special blanket like that~ I always think what a BLESSING for a person to live to see their GREAT grandchildren!! I pray I do… š your kids are all so precious Shan~ I love seeing the older ones loving on the little one! ā¤
thanks for sharing the pictures!!! what a precious family!!!
I’m doing just fine as long as you keep psoting these adorable pictures!
@ABAHM – Let’s see you put your David in the middle of the table now! LOL I’ll take the picture
Oh Shanda! Seth is sooooo precious and adorable, I wish I could reach through the computer screen and hold that little beanbag body. In no time he will be a month old already, hard to believe! Those first three months are so sweet and hard (physically/emotionally) at the same time, but I know you are enjoying every moment with your baby.Girl, 5 BOYS. YOU are the mother of 5 BOYS!!!!
