Grace wanted me to show you all that her addiction to canned corn has some benefits….some of those empty cans have been put to good use today. She and Ethan made homemade stilts and have been clomping around all over the place. They couldn’t find a hammer and a nail so they used a meat mallet and a nut pick to poke the holes in the tin for the yarn.
If her feet look big to you, it’s because she’s wearing four pairs of socks.

funny.. did they paten it? π
they are so good with their imagination:)
Good thinking, Grace!!
Its fun watching another family with children in the same stage of life…. =)
Cool idea! Way to go on creativity kids!
Love the creativity!
Oh what a cool thing!! Does it scratch up your floors at all? My kids would probably love, love to try these out.
So, when she says she has corns on her feet…..she means literally. (LOL)
How awesome! What great creative minds your children have. About the socks… I was wondering how her feet were handling that; mine sure wouldn’t be able to π
Had to laugh at SpazzyMommy’s comment! Hilarious! 4 pairs of socks ~ more than one way to get soft soles, eh?
OH my LOL Those remind me of the things I had when I was little called Romper Stompers. I loved those babies.
Hilarious!!!
Not by any chance did she get that idea from A Beka’s science or health book? We just saw the “canned stilts” in our first grade books, but I rushed past that page saying “some children make stilts from cans”!!!! I know, I’m horrible!!!
How fun!
What fun!!
Cute….they are too cute.
