Just look at these gorgeous “Marigold” fiesta mixing bowls that I ordered today from HLC’s outlet!
Imagine my excitement to find out *today* that HLC is producing a limited run of “MARIGOLD” fiesta in honor of their 75th anniversary!
Marigold! What a lovely name!
Oh I’m just so thrilled!
I also found out today that the new fiesta color will be IVORY, and will come out this summer.
~Yes, I’m feeling somewhat more chipper today~still drained, but happyish. After all, it’s FRIDAY and soon my husband will be home for a lovely long weekend~

I love the color-especially the name too. For my birthday I got a set of fiestaware dishes, I will put up a picture of them soon. I love fiestaware, I think it will never go out of style!

I must admit, when I read the title “Fiesta,” I thought you were planning a Mexican party – pinata and all! That’s what Rissy did last year for her birthday (this year was a Hawaiian luau – I don’t know where she comes up with these ideas) but I was expecting to see Mexican food and children wearing sombreros! Even, maybe, a burro in the from yard!After the initial discovery I had made a mistake and you were ACTUALLY talking about dishes, I must tell you – I am happy for you!!!!

I couldn’t see the actual color. Now that they have Ivory I am considering collecting only the Ivory but Shanda do you use them for your every day? Are they too heavy to be practical? I need to replace the ones we have had for 13 yrs but they are light and can go in the microwave and dishwasher…so write me an email and try to sell me on them!

Those are so cheerful! The Mexican place dh and I went to over the weekend used colorful dishes like fiesta wear….I should have peeked underneath to see what they were. Every plate on our table was a different color and it was so happy and cheerful.
