  1. That is so incredibly beautiful.  We kept looking for one today, it was so weirdly blue/cloudy/rainy, I thought for sure there’d be one, but we never did see one.  I’m glad you did.  Love, Trish

  2. What a lovely picture, and I am assuming that it was taken with your house behind you….what an amazing gift to live where you do – I am in awe, you are truly very, very blessed to live in surroundings like that! ~Colleen~

  3. I need a copy of this picture a large one for my bedroom wall. I love all of you sorry that this past week has seemed very heavy on the heart it’s awsome to know that God is always with us. -amanda

  4. Look how the rainbow is perfectly arched and centered over your property! That was CLEARLY made with you in mind!!What a beautiful picture. So perfect in every way. Will we be seeing this framed in your house in a future picture??

  5. Thanks for sharing the experience. It is rare that you get to see a “full” rainbow. Rarer still that it is one capable of being captured on film (or electrons in your case).

  6. Wow.  Speechless.  Frame this.
Makes me think of my white heron from last night.
It’s been doing a lot of funky things here, with rain and sunshine, but no rainbows…glad you got it instead.

  7. AMAZING!!!!  Shan, this picture could win awards!  This needs to be blown up huge and matted and framed on your wall.  What a beautiful reminder of how great our God is, and how small we are.  He keeps His promises…

  8. Oh Shan!  It is beautiful and amazing!  A full rainbow!  Howe amazing!  I love this photo.  It is definitely a winner and I love how your kids are standing under it, in awe.

  9. I just set this photoas my new background…to share with my family later today.Looking at your children on the grass…how lovely they were all there to be in the picture…another reason be be glad you homeschool them

  10. You know . . . I went through an absolutely lousy period of my life. It lasted for weeks. One day, after a storm, I say my neighbors across the street pointing in the direction of our house, then more neighbors joined them. After the way things had been going, I figured my roof was on fire!!!!I walked outside and like a basket handle, there was a rainbow over my house. My house alone. From one side of the roof to the other – touching nothing else buy our house. One neighbor commented, “Do you have an ‘in’ with God, or something?”I praise God for giving you this promise of love. What a tangible piece of evidence that He truly cares about you!

  11. that picture instantly brought tears to my eyes (and I am not a teary person so much).  I am not really sure why except I instantly saw the beauty of God’s promise and how much He loves us.  Thank you for sharing.
