I almost forgot. . . .
Happy Earth day!
Aren’t you glad our Lord created such a lovely one?
And isn’t it fitting that my 2 yr. old has gone #2 in the potty 2 times (on his own) (for the very first time!!) today?
(insert my squeals of glee here)
We’re saving diapers from going to the land-fill!

What an adorable turtle! Are you having frog legs for supper?
I had to break down and bribe my son with a Jeep to get him to take care of the potty thing!! We had tried everything from encouraging words to stars to time out to good ole fashioned whoopings. Nothing worked. As we walked through Walmart, I looked up at one of the Jeeps and told him, “you do #2 in the potty and that Jeep is yours.” I did a cost analysis and decided the payback was sufficient. He got the Jeep, I looked at my last pookie diaper.
I was a happy man.
Ha Ha! Too funny Shan! I love the pictures!
Yay for Caleb! Yay for you! Yay for the earth, too. 🙂 LOL!!!
Hurray for Caleb! Hurray for Caleb’s mommy!!! The pictures are great!
Turtles and frogs, oh MY! LOL Cute!
Glad to hear about the potty!! Suz
I feel a little sorry for those frogs! LOL!
Reminds me of the little nursery rhyme — snakes and snails and puppy dog tails — that’s what little boys are made of! Do you ever find live things in their pockets?
A frog in each hand — how cute!!
Great “earthy” pictures – creatures + boys! Hey, have you ever heard of the book, “The Dangerous Book for Boys”? I ordered it for my husband for his first Father’s Day; unfortunately, he saw it when it came in yesterday, so it won’t be a surprise for that anymore. But I’m telling you, he was all over that book! A grown man! It is brimming with BOY ideas – everything from making the perfect paper airplane to building a fort…T can hardly wait to do those things with his son, and I bet your guys would also enjoy the book.
Doesn’t anyone use cloth diapers anymore?
I love the frog pictures, and your new hat………and I love violets too.
Yes…I am thankful for this earth and I rejoice with you and Caleb on this big accomplishment. My question regarding landfills: “Is the earth getting bigger because of our landfills?”We had this discussion with our children once. Happy day.
Cowper said, “Nature is but a name for an effect whose cause is God.” How beautifully He made His earth and the little frog and turtle handling boy-inhabitants of it. Have a wonderful vacation. I will be praying for you to have a wonderful time! blessings and hugs in SC
Yay for you guys! I can’t wait for our home to be diaper-free!
Happy belated earth day to you. I love the pictures… very fitting. Our Heavenly Father has certainly made an amazing world!
Is that the same turtle I just read about? 🙂
