@fwren – Thanks, fwren, the weather was supposed to get icy “back home” and Grandma is still very weak and sleepy from her hip replacement surgery. So we will go another time.
Cute – at least for those of us who are observing. I have two little boys here for a week (Ages 3 & 5) so I will be refreshed in how it is to live with preschoolers!
Don’t you just LOVE that little guy!! Remember this…all the while, he is learning SOMETHING. 🙂 My first thought was…”Oh no, is her sugar dish broken?” Isn’t it strange how our minds work sometimes…for the moment the fiesta ware was most important. Forgive me! 🙂 He is a cutie!
Oh Shan! That is so cute–messy but cute! The train had quite the snow to go through. It looks so drifty! I’m glad Caleb was there to the rescue! :>) I’m reading the same book right now! I’m enjoying it. How about you?
When I saw your title, “Life With Caleb”, my mind immediately went to my life with Jacob. Then I saw the pictures, and I new my mind was on the right “track” so to speak. Life with little boys is never dull, is it?
Oh, how cute. I just want to give him a hug. Glenn told me that Cole got into the animal crackers today and scattered them all over the floor. Always something. 🙂
He is so cute. I am sure God planned that….it helps with the messes Thanks for sharing this moment of your life.
Loved the last post too. I’ve been sick and it was so refreshing! love, Jenny
LOL to MoyaMommy’s comment. I agree, kids are too sweet at this age! Even though we may groan as we clean up after all their little messes, its things like Caleb size prints in the sugar that we will miss when they are grown. 😉
I may copy your post- and just change the title- “Life With Jacob”. (LOL)
And ya know what? I wouldn’t change me life for anything under the sun!!! 🙂 I’m sure you feel the same way.
@mymeanderings – I grabbed my camera. Then I groaned over cleaning up sugar. I can never seem to get all the grains up and I don’t like walking on it. This happened at Christmas time, I just never got around to adding the pictures to my site. I dearly love his footprint in the sugar. LOVE!
Oh. My. Word. My version of Caleb is named Jacob. Jacob will be 3 in April . He makes us all laugh alot AND completely wears me out ! 🙂 He burned a pillow last week ( Yes. I said burned. He was not unattended. I am not a negligent mom. I was right there. Lying on the sofa, sick. I think that I didn’t actually look at him for 30 seconds and that’s all it took! ),and colored the bathroom floor and the familyroom walls. He hid a cup of milk. He spit out yogurt on my favorite upholstered chair. And so on! I am right there with you! Thanks for sharing!
I’m at the library trying to catch up. You have so many posts I need to talk about 🙂 but I don’t have the time! I will say that I had to laugh at the post about your old journal! It looks like mine!
Too funny – I’m so sad that you weren’t able to come out for the weekend!
@colleena146 – me too. I miss you and the rest of the family sooooo much!
too cute ~
From prior comment, does that mean you didn’t get to go see Grandma? I’m so sorry ~

Tell James to behave!!!
LOL – life with a preschooler + BOY! This brings back memories of days with my younger siblings…I really need to gear up for that again.
@seedsower – LOL you made me laugh. . .I should’ve titled this “life with James”. BTW, Caleb’s middle name is James.

The footprint in the sugar… that is priceless!!
Loved the pictures!! Who had hip surgery?
@Erika15227 – Rich’s Grandma.. . .I don’t think you’ve met her. It’s his Dad’s mom.
How “sweet”!!
@brezomayo – I knew you would! 🙂
Isn’t that was sugar is for :)?
