He looks in the mirror:
Come on now, that’s just not right!
I guess he’s still cute. I’ve never had a baby with such dark eye brows before!
I’m glad I can laugh.
I’m thankful for warm running water.
I’m thankful for a big brother who “tattle-taled”
I’m glad that when Rich gets home I get to go out for a while.

Oh my! Priceless pictures and memories! I laugh with you…and even wish my boys were still little 🙂
Praying you enjoy your day, Laurie
Ohhhh…mine got into a potted plant….I know I’m supposed to cherish even THESE moments, but today is NOT the day for that! I need some more pumpkin ice cream.
Oh MY! What a mess! It gave me a laugh though! I loved your last two blogs about knitting and Dave and Maria’s engagement–YIPPEE! I love you and miss you! Hope you your having a great weekend!
Oh, boy! At least it wasn’t permanent marker! I think every mother I know has at least ONE story similar to this. How wonderful that you were able to see the humor in it, and even record it. Someday, when he is older, you can show him these pictures and he will probably be horrified!
Isn’t it amazing how short a time it takes to make a mess like that!
ryc: I have not idea what kind of flower that is. I don’t even remember where I took the photo.
What fun — I can almost hear him laughing (and I’m glad you can laugh too)! And how great that you can get out for a while when Rich gets home. (I do hope that you’ll show him these pictures first, though!)
Some people show photo clips from their childhood during their wedding reception….this would definitely be one of those. I love your sense of Gratitude. Blessings!
Too funny – I’ve had those kind of messes. Marissa and Meg got nto a bottle of bubble bath in the upstairs bathroom the other day. They smelled nice – but they also tried “washing” the kitty.
I love the dot on his forehead in the first picture…you can tell that he tried shutting the cap by pressing it on his forehead. Too cute!
I can’t stop laughing!!!!
HAHAHA!! That is too cute and funny! And I am THANKFUL that my children are not the only ones who do things like that! 🙂 (or did things like that anyway:)
P.S. The song on your site is the one I sang at my Grandma’s funeral last year. I love it and it reminds me of her- thank you….
Have a super day!
~Amy
Oh what fun Just thought I would pop by and say hello- it has been so long. I am back I will try to get caught up on blogs this week, I feel so out of the loop!
I love it! It really is the best response to laugh and take pictures :)It’s awesome that you celebrated reformation day! My mom sent me a pumpkin and candy to mark the holiday and my friends were all confused as to why we were celebrating….
Ah. Someday you will look back and laugh. He does look cute though. 🙂 Hugs. We all have those days. Personally I wonder how they think of these ideas…..Have a good SundayMelody
Beautiful, very artistic. I have found a few of my children like that and was thankful I could laugh through it as well. Hope you enjoyed your time out after Rich got home.
Oh boy! At least it was washable paint, right??? I hope you had a wonderful time out by yourself. I’m sure you needed it. Once you learn to knit, will you teach me? 🙂
Long ago my little boy had some kinda fun with the baby powder. These are the days you look back on and smile at their curiosity. God bless those little ones…and the mommies that clean up after them!
What in the world is that stuff?!! LOL!
Oh dear! My first thought was that it was a bottle of black printer ink which only wears off! When they grow up and have children of their own, it’s time to show them these pictures. Blessings!
Ha ha ha…..this is the time to remember that book about boys and dirt that you recently read! (The “dirt” referred to in that book can include paint, markers, and other mess-making resources, right? ) This sure brings back memories of when my siblings were very small, especially the boys, and seemed to get into everything!
Oh no!!!! Too funny!
Oh no! That is so funny! Abby saw the pictures and she just stared ~ I don’t know if she knew what to think! lol
By the way, Abby loves your pig cursor. She kept asking to see ‘the piggy!’ 🙂
