How come I am not sitting on your porch looking at that beautiful scenery? 🙂 It looks so beautiful. It will be at least another month before we see colors like that. Hope you had a great day.
i cant’ WAIT for the leaves to change here. jim and i were supposed to go to vermont next weekend to see the leaves and putts around new england but we decided to take all the kids to boulder to hike in november. i am pinching myself now that i see your beautiful pictures! 😉 they are gorgeous!
Our leaves are turning as well, I love watching the process but am a little sad knowing in a month it will be all gone. I wish we had a few months of the amazing colors….sigh
oh what beautiful beautiful pictures!!! i absoltely LOVE fall! the leaves are just starting to change here… they are not quite as far along as the ones in your pictures.
you did a lovely job
We will not see such a display down here in the Deep South. It is beautiful at your place. I’m glad you are enjoying these days of autumn, and thank you for sharing them with us!

oh wow, you have some pretty fall colors in your area!
I scrolled back down through your family pics, and was delighted to see some more added…=) You have a sweet, sweet, family~
They tree’s are so pretty, are trees are just starting to turn here in PA , i love the fall everything is just so beautiful, thanks for the comment on my site you are welcome to visit any time, as for your time in NYC it sounds like it was quite the experience you have a blessed week.

I always enjoy your photography. I know I’ve asked you before, but do you mind telling me again, what kind of camera do you have? I just signed up for a photography class at our community college. I’m SO SO excited. I also just bought a new camera…and can’t wait to learn how to PROPERLY use it. 🙂
I just looked through your last five posts and enjoyed all the pictures….but especially loved the one of the super fat baby asleep on the rocker.!!! HOW ADORABLE!! Your so blessed.
Although we also experience Autumn here, the colors are not as vivid because we don’t have the same variety of trees. There are not many Maple trees of either variety here, and now Ash, either. I miss the great Fall colors in Upstate NY! Thanks for sharing your beautiful view.
Thanks for sharing your fall – it is breathtaking! Oklahoma’s fall will be more prolific in October and November.
Two of my girls woke up Sunday morning and wondered why there weren’t piles of leaves in the backyard. Apparently, they understood the “first day of fall” to mean heaps of leaves for playing!!!
It’s so wonderful to know that Autum does happen in other places! (I live in the valley of Arizona were there is only summer and spring) These pictures are so beautiful!
Absolutely gorgeous, Shanda! You have a wonderful eye for capturing the simple yet exquisite beauty of God’s creation. Thank you for sharing these shots! Blessings ~ Heather

Aww, beautiful, peaceful, heavenly . . . . Makes me want to curl up on your porch with a favorite sweater, and some hot mulled cider!

Those are lovely — we see an occasional tree turning color here, but nothing like the displays of the northeast and the midwest. Such pretty colors.

Wow the colors are amazing. My big maple tree (the one with the swing) has not yet started to change but I can’t wait.
