All your pictures of your beautiful family (and I was gonna say this before I read the above comment) make me wish I could meet you! If you ever “happen through” Iowa…
Very sweet! I used to sing that to my kids when they were little! I also made up this song I called “Little Ray of Sunshine” and used to sing it to them. “Little ray of sunshine Jesus brought into my life. Little arms around my neck, holding me tight. You brighten up each morning with your little sunshine smile. And I’m so glad God let me be your Mommy!”
You let your kids eat in the car?!? I sing this song to my children all the time. I would sing it over and over again trying to coax them into sleep. How true it is!
What a wonderful post — beautiful photos, and the rhythm of the photos met the rhythm of the song! This song, and the entire post, seem to epitomize your life and your family!
I loved seeing some of the “older” pictures. My how your children are growing! They are all so sweet and lovely because they are well-loved by a mom and dad who want them to grow up to be the best followers of Christ they can be.
What a sweet post! Every post you make I can tell how much you love your husband, children, life and most importantly, God. God’s Blessings to you for a wonderful weekend!
Awww….I love this! So SWEET! This really touched my heart, these pictures are such a testimony to the Lord and His Goodness. : ) Precious, precious, precious…. Thanks for sharing with us! Thank you for the sweet comment too, you are such an encouragement. Blessings and hugs, ~Amelia : )
Shan-How I loved looking at your beautiful family. I enjoyed seeing the past years and watching as your children have grown. You haven’t changed a bit! 🙂 Thanks for sharing these. There’s quite a few here that I thought were my favorite.
What a precious post! I love all of the pictures from over the years. I agree with Amanda–I remember when Grandma taught me the different verses to that song. Now I can’t remember them. I can remember Grandma’s voice as she sang them like it was yesterday and the smile on her face as she did it — the joy she had in sharing a simple song and the pride she had in knowing the words. I remember how she knew the words to “johnny angel” and other songs from her high school years too. I miss her.
