More excitement at my house
David (my almost 5 year old) has learned to ride a 2-wheeler,
thanks to the excellent teaching
of his sister, Grace. This little bike has been in almost constant
use for 5 years and has been run over by the truck.
It is missing a pedal.
However, it is the bike of choice because it is so little that David isn’t afraid to fall.
I love his expressions!
Enjoy the pictures of his first day of riding his bike on the driveway:
Milestones
(I also found out yesterday that
Jacob’s feet are now bigger than mine.
!!!)

about the milestone? wait until your “baby” boys get really hairy legs! Yikes! Man legs! That takes the “baby” right out of the boy real fast! I thought I was gonna cry! haha
Thanks for your sweet comment and your prayers for Baby Delaney! That means so very much to me.Your kiddos are precious, btw. My kids just learned to ride w/o training wheels this summer, and they too have given their bikes endless use lately. Oh yeah, and my son’s flip flops officially fit my feet too! LOL!
Way to go David!!
A future stuntman!!!
Ah, yes…the milestones. It reminds me of my kids learning to skate..running in the house and telling me…”MOM! I only fell down TWELVE times today!”
:o)
Go David! How sweet is it that his sister, Grace, taught him how to ride a bike? Having kids is wonderful.
Look at his determination! If only we ALL tackled new things with such vigor. These were great pictures, as always.
Can you believe? I remember the first time I balanced a two-wheeler — and that was a LONG time ago!! He must be sooo excited!! Way to go David! Our kids learned to ride on an old lime green bike that had big yellow tires — I’ll have to dig out a pic.
Yay for David! How fun learning to ride a bike! =)We just recently got rid of our bike carriers since our little family can all ride bikes now…kinda bittersweet. And yes, I can relate with the oldest son thing……another bittersweet. Blessings to you and yours today~ t miller
I am so enjoying watiching your children, not only are they so precious (and really cute) but they remind me of Bri growing up. I remember that same look of determination on her face when 1st riding a bike
Awwwww congratulations David! What a great milestone!! I love visiting your blog….
Cool!
Congratulations!!!
I was JUST wondering why did you never comment on my site…
But it’s ok!
I was just wondering why…
Bye for now!!!
God Bless!!!

ryc~ Bri’s t-shirt costs about $45 at a local boutique, she bought it fro $3 at our thift store!
YAY David, that is so AWESOME! I loved the pictures, his expression is priceless.
They grow up so fast!
Such determination on his face in that 3rd to the last shot ~
Look at him go!! How cute, brings back memories!!
AWWW! CONGRATS to David! Too cute! Suz
Good for Davey…Meg’s sisters taught her the fine art last year when she was 4…
Too funny about Jake – Molly is only 1 size away from my shoe size!
Good job little man!
Cute pictures.
My almost-five grandson still uses training wheels. I need to prod his dad to give him a little help. The pictures are precious.
I forgot to say: Only a child would be able to ride a bike with a pedal missing, barefoot. Adults would surely complain.
Such manly determination and concentration. How proud David should be. Such fetes lead to manly daring. Especially barefoot ones! Congratulations little man.
congrats to your little guy! Adorable pics and wonderful memories for you to cherish ~ My little girl just received her first bike last month and is so excited to be trying at her first set of wheels (when it’s not raining!). Blessings on your day~ may you sense His everlasting grace and peace on it :)alyssa
