(They are toads)
Warning! This is disturbing!
Mind you, this JUST HAPPENED. The children forced me to go outside to see this!
You will probably scream!
More information: The kids caught all these today, the pond is overrun with them. . .apparently it’s a good day to be a toad.
They are all over the place. . . . . .and we haven’t seen any until today! I’m sure they’ll be gone in a few days. They better be!
Ok, we did not scream…I chuckled – because it looked like something that we would do when we were little. (remember the creek fish we used to catch?)
Actually Molly and Madelynn cannot wait to come and get in on the action. Madelynn’s exact quote was “I want to bring one home!” Molly’s reaction was “cool”.
LOL!!! I didn’t scream….now if it was a bucket full of spiders!!! eek!!
Have a GREAT day!
oh know! LOL did you have any idea they had caught that many!
Oh my stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol
Good grief!!!!!! Did they really catch all those, or did they hatch in that big container? I never knew frogs (that is what they are, right?) made that much noise!
makes me wonder how loud a plague of frogs wound be!
my husband absolutly hates frogs i cannot wait till he gets home so i can disturb him with this, lol.
Nasty. That’s straight out of Exodus.
Whoa…. that’s a load of frogs… for sure. Did they catch them all, or was that once a huge bucket of tadpoles? If so… I guess it’s a pretty cool science experiment. 🙂
My son would love em.
I couldn’t tell what they were, I didn’t scream, but I don’t think I’d enjoy being to close to it either.
What? How? I need more information!!!!
is that frogs? did they hatch in there, or did the boys put them in?! I think I would have screamed! AGH!
oh my word…..{{{shiver, shiver}}}
Oh my cow! Until I read the rest of your post, I thought they GREW in there! LOL!
Not too disturbing, just kind of interesting and slimy. So are these toads different than the frogs we have seen in previous posts?
Look at all those toads! I bet your kids had a ball. How long did it take them to get all those toads in the bucket?
Interesting my Grandchildren love to catch frogs but they have never had that many at one time cute!Oh I guess they are toads not frogs we do see a lot more of them than we do frogs! You must have fun with 5 children awesome!
WOWOWOWOW! I showed my boys this and they loved it. Truly, an amphibianlover’s dream come true. Your boys are so blessed!!~C
Oh WOW!!!I think they may have chose your land for their mating ground.
I don’t think Toads like water but I could be wrong.
Did he fill that up, glass-ful, by glass-ful? Oh, Oh, when I was little I had some warts on my hand and someone told me it was because I touched a toad!!! I’m sure that was just an “old wives tale!” — better check those hands! (o:
The plague of toads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
