Yes, the birds are singing differently ~ more joyfully! And I know what you mean about that feeling inside ~ something like “waking up” feels, maybe? Joy to you today.
For whatever reason, I just woke up from having a dream about you and your family… you had had me over for the day and your kiddos were the best in the world and you were so unbelieveably (sp?) sweet!!!! I had woke up earlier and was like “yuck, I sure am not ready to get up…” so I went back to sleep, despite my need to get up and get stuff done… once I woke up from having that peaceful dream about you and your family, I was beyond ready to get up and get going…!!!! I was so at ease about my day and ready and armed to get up and face what greets me today!!! I don’t know how “real like” my dream was since I’ve never met you and haven’t talked to you through xanga all that long… but from what I have learned about you through xanga, it seemed to be pretty realistic to you!! I dunno… it was really weird but I thought I would share it with you!!! Hope you have a most wonderful day today… and just in case you and your family were put on my mind for a reason, I added you to my prayer list this morning also!!! Jami
Beautiful pics. We lived in Florida for a while years back, and one of the things I missed most was the change of seasons. It is still cold and snowy here, but I have been hearing the birds sing, and there is just a feel of spring in the air. Blessings
We are still very much in the middle of winter. I have flowers I was going to post this week as well, so we are once again thinking the same. Did these grow on your property?
We are patiently waiting to see flowers outside of our window. But for now we still have snow and our only sign of spring is the upcoming daylight savings time.
I noticed the birds started singing right after the snow a week or so ago. I love it! And then when the rain came and cleared out the snow, it smelled like spring!
I love tulips! they are so the definition of spring. Thanks for the pictures!
Lovely tulips 🙂 I had a dream that you changed your blog name from purple to something really strange, but I can’t think of it now. LOL must be the medicine I’m on. Sheesh. I hope you have a great day. Love, Trish
I am elated that Spring is almost here. Morgan and I headed out to the park today, to meet a friend, and have a picnic. The weather is warm, sunny, and perfect. I love it. The flowers are lovely.
Oh, beautiful pink tulips — you just brightened by day!! We’re still snow-covered here but I bought some pink hyacinths at the grocery store the other day and have them in my sunny bow window — they smell wonderful. I’d post a picture but I’m still waiting to purchase a digital camera — it would take too long with my great 35mm — it’s a great camera but oh, so slow, in this day of instant technology!
