Staying out of Trouble

My house is quiet right now.  Rich took the kids out shopping and he is leaving David, Caleb, and Grace at my sister’s house before he comes back home for our big night of company.

All is well.  Thank you to those who have been praying for my stress levels, LOL.

My dinner roll dough is rising in the kitchen.  The house is clean but I still need to vacuum.

This morning, Rich and I went for a walk before the kids woke up.    We have a pond on the side of our house and a pond down in front.  This is the one on the side, we can walk all the way around it.  Isn’t it pretty with it’s new coat of ice?

Last night I went shopping for some things for our dinner.  I also bought some crazy socks:

Rich and David gave me roses this weekend (the rest are in another vase):

Rich bought me a new refridgerator this weekend, too:

I just got done eating this:

Here I am, happy today, but I notice that in this picture, my fists are clenched a little too tightly:

The font I am using is making me write like a elementary school girl.

That’s all for now!  I’m going back to vacuuming.

  1. Hello! Just browsing your blogring and wanted to stop in. I enjoyed your site! You have a beautiful family. Have a great day!

  2. I love the picture of the pond..the blues and purples are just breathtaking!!  And the picture of you in front of your new frig–just too cute!!  You LOOK the part of the schoolgirl in that one.  Have a wonderful time with your full house tonight!

  3. Those socks are completely adorable.  Is there a commandment in the Bible about “thou shalt not covet thy friend’s refrigerator”, because if there is, I’ve broken it. πŸ™‚  I am hoping for one of those in the next year or so.  I love the pond picture…I hope tonight goes well and you have a lovely dinner.  *hugs* Love, Trish

  4. I loved the rose.  Something unfamiliar to see at this time of year…at least in this house!!  And I actually have a little envy over that new fridge!!  I will repent later!!  Enjoy your evening of company.

  5. Your post today made me smile and feel happy for you. I am happy to hear that you are doing better and that things are going well. The pond picture looked so beautiful and relaxing. I am sure you and Rich had a nice walk together. Your refrigerator is so nice and you look so cute in that pic. I love the rose, how sweet to receive them. Your socks are too cute. You are truly blessed. Oh, I love your apron! Where did you find it?

  6. I knew it – love the coat. I hope you got it on sale – it is a great coat. And having only 1 girl – she can have the best. πŸ™‚ HAVE a happy party.

  7. I love your fridge * drooling*. Is it the kind with the freezer in the bottom?? Isn’t motherhood crazy? A few years ago I could have cared less about appliances.

  8. I love going for a walk with my husband!  Your pond looks so beautiful.
And your refrigerator!!  Looks huge!  Is the freezer on the bottom part?

  9. I love everything about this post!  that picture of your house and the pond in the morning is beautiful.  I want to come to your house and walk around your pond, and smell your roses, and sit in your new home with crazy socks on our feet, and open all the doors of your new refrigerator and then sit on the floor with our fists clenched and analyze why they are that way. (I love analyzing)   LOL.  have a blessed day, Shanda!
