Thank you to everyone who left such encouraging things for me to read today.  I was touched by you all, I truly was.  I’m glad that I wrote how I was feeling.  I am doing better today.  I did go out to the grocery store and a couple of shops with the children.  We have some of R’s family coming on Sunday for Christmas and so I am trying to get things done for that visit.  Rich is away tonight and will be back tomorrow evening.  I don’t like it when he’s away but I plan on putting the children to bed right after dinner and hopefully I will have some time to spend on some reading, tv, devotions, and such.  Love to you all, Shanda

  1. I can just see (and hear) little Caleb doing that. Is it just C or is D getting in on the action, too?I’m glad you’re feeling better today. I had a rough morning with Ainsley then a rough afternoon with Lorelei. She just wouldn’t stop crying after getting her shots. When Josh came home at 4, he sent me out and I didn’t come home until just now. It was VERY refreshing.

  2. I’m glad that you are feeling better.  My husband used to travel with his job when the children were little so I can relate to being “on your own” overnight.  I hope everyone goes right to sleep and that you have a refreshingly quiet evening.

  3. Oh man, I can picture Caleb doing that…what a trip.  Alex has been really good last year, but I dozed off a little in the chair one afternoon, and I woke up to him smiling at me, putting an ornament into my hand.  LOL Ahhh kids.  I’m so glad you had a better day today.  You can always give me a call if you ever want to chat, I’m willing to listen. πŸ™‚  Take care, and have a good night.  Love, Trish

  4. I hope you had a relaxing evening, doing some reading and just resting. I am home a few nights by myself and I am looking forward to sipping on some green tea, sitting by my Christmas Tree, and looking at some magazines. Be blessed today.

  5. Sam got a spanking yesterday for disobeying me about that very thing!  Over and over, day by day, we deal with the same issue!  πŸ™‚  He actually broke one yesterday while I was brushing my teeth.  I heard “bounce, bounce, shatter”.  Who knew they could bounce?  Anyway, I ran in, toothbrush in mouth, tried to grab the spanker, stepped in the dog’s water bowl, tipped it over completely–me with wet pajama leg, cold foot, spanker in hand, toothbrush in mouth.  I spanked him, finished brushing my teeth, cuddled him, picked up the glass (or whatever it is they’re made out of), changed my pants, changed my slippers, and cleaned up the water.  Craziness.
