Rich is away tonight and will be back tomorrow. I am a big worry-wart and so I am all nervous about going to church tonight w/out him. I need to go because it’s Elissa’s last night and we’re having a pie fellowship after church. I also need to practice a trio. I just don’t like the stress of traveling and being at church with all the kids, it’s hard for me to keep track of them and to make sure they all behave. I’m going to have to ask for help? We’ll see. In the meantime, I have a few pictures to share:
Caleb caught his reflection during bathtime:
Grace Lillian:
David and his car:
The kids had a great time letting their matchbox cars go from the top of the driveway.
Ready. . . .set. . . . .
GO!
I love how Ethan is “off the ground excited”.
(happy days)
Update: everything WAS FINE at church (O ME of little faith). God loves to take care of us, doesn’t he![]()

looks like fun =]
you’ll do fine at church =]
Great pics! Things will go fine tonight. Don’t worry. You can handle it. If you need help, ask. Its ok. (easy to say, not as easy to do, I know)HugsMelody
Not kidding here but my children are playing with that exact same car at this very moment. McD’s right?
Hope things go fine at church. I’m single tonight for church too. And so tired…but I need to go.
I love the photo of Caleb and his reflection! This would be a definite “prize-winner”!
Hope everything goes OK at church tonight. Hopefully, your friends will see your need and pitch in to help.
So how did it go? I LOVE the reflection picture, is smile is great, and the angle of the car shot!
Okay, well the Lord has shown me once again (I hope I learn this lesson) that worry is a sin! Because, guess what? When it was time to practice my trio I asked my sister to help me with David and she said, “I’m leaving now, but. . . .can I just take him with me?” After she made sure it was okay w/her hubby, they left with him! I was able to practice knowing that David was taken care of (and VERY happy). I also stayed a little while to visit and talk. I just got home and put the kids to bed.
Everything was just fine, just like you all said. Thanks for the encouragment.
onehappymomma—I wondered if anyone would recognize the car from McD’s!! 🙂
Yay! Praise the Lord for sisters!I’m glad I saw you at church tonight.
I know it’s convicting, too, but it’s always so great to see God take care of us even when we don’t always believe it.I’m sure David had a great time with Amanda. How nice to have a sister so willing to jump in and help. I’m glad I saw you last night and that you had one last chance to say good-bye to Elissa. I’m sure the kids didn’t want to miss out on that either. It looked like you were going to have to physically pry Grace off of her last night so Elissa could leave. I know they will miss her tremendously.
I am happy that your night went better than you had anticipated and that it was enjoyable. God is always taking care of us.-Tara
Hi! Thanks for the comment! You have a lovely site, and the pictures of your kids are adorable! It looks like the havea lot of fun together. I have 5 siblings, and remember well how fun it was to have constant playmates. Hope your day is going well!! -Abby
The picture of your lttle one in the tub is amazing (LOVE IT), what a great shot. I guess I deprive my kids at McDonalds, we don’t allow happy meals anymore, just dollar menu.
Love the bathroom one! What a picture–how do you do it all the time Shanda? You are amazing! 🙂
