I am burdened for that Amish community that suffered from such hatred yesterday. God is in control. Let’s pray today that He will be glorified through this. The world will have an opportunity to see how a Christian community reacts to such violence. I already saw on the news this morning that the Amish are prepared to forgive. Isn’t that what true Christianity is all about? Pray today for our country!
“Trust in Him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before Him: God is a refuge for us.” Ps. 62:8
Good to be Home 
My heart just breaks for all the families in the recent days. Most especially for the Amish community. For “our” world to invade theirs in such a way. Terrible. PrayersMelodyP.S. What a special day/night your older kids had. 🙂 And how nice for you to be able to spend time with the littles too. 🙂
It broke my heart when this tragedy broke the news. My sense of justice often keeps me from offering grace or forgiveness. Thank you for the reminder.

It is heart breaking and our society seriously needs our prayers……it’s amazing how often we hear about these tragedies. If it breaks our hearts like it does, I can only imagine what it does to our Heavenly Father’s heart!
