“Trip Back Home”
I took so many pictures that I decided to spend a few days posting them,
a few at a time,
for my friends and family to see.
Enjoy!
Country Girl. . . . . .

Jacob took this picture of me hanging clothes out on the line at my parent’s house. I am wearing an apron that an 80 year old woman made. I bought it from her at our local arts and crafts festival. I went to the festival one morning after dropping the 4 older children off at VBS, and I had a wonderful time walking around, seeing people that I’ve known for years, stopping to TALK or to LOOK at things.
Time for Sunflowers!

Simple Pleasure. . . . . . .

A walk on a country road. . . .the same road that I walked as a young girl.
Are we Friends?

This is my favorite. Caleb formed quite an attachment to the family dog, Brutus. Here he is taking a short rest on his new friend.
~Safety, warmth, trust, comfort~ These are words to describe only the best of friends.
So glad you are back Glad you had a good time too! The pic of you hanging laundry on the line looks so relaxing! I love the apron, I am always looking for pretty aprons! It looks like the children had just as much fun as you did!

Okay, forget the email I just sent you, I really wanted to go up and see you while you were there, but I missed the window, it was too crazy of a week. Love the picture, my fav was the first one, I would have loved walking around as well, and would have wanted an apron!!!
I smiled when I saw your flower I took one this week as well. Your is so happy! Very cool to see the road again, I like how you did it in b&w.

Sounds like you had a great time. Loved the pic of the boys walking the country road!
Welcome back! I missed you. I had a rough week… I’ll probably be blogging about it later. I loved your pictures…especially Caleb with the dog. I wish ours were a little more cuddly with Ainsley. I can’t wait to see more pictures and to catch up with you.
Awww…those pictures are great!
Welcome back! That apron you have is so neat! My daughter and I have been looking for something similar but all we keep finding are the mens big burly barbaque aprons. We want something a lil more frilly. π
The pics are fantastic, I look forward to seeing more!
I love this post! It is so heart warming. thanks for the ‘warm fuzzy’ in my day!
I love your new apron! It was so good to have the opportunity to visit and chat while you were home! Elisha
My favorite picture was the country road. It just seems so peaceful!
Welcome home! Good luck choosing just a few pics each day. That could be a bigger challenge than unpacking all those suitcases!
Welcome home! I’m so glad you’re back! Your pictures are priceless. I especially love the one of you hanging laundry in the apron. I am truly a country, old fashioned girl at heart and love to hang laundry outside…….to smell the fresh scent of clean clothes that have dried in the warm summer air. I love aprons! They have so much history and meaning and they sure have saved an outfit or 50 for me!
The other pictures…..wow, you sure have an eye for a good picture! You could probably win some serious awards with your photography skills. They are simply precious pictures!
I hope you enjoy a wonderful day today!
Blessings and hugs,
Jana
