Another Happy Simple Pleasure.

“Rain Rain Glorious Rain”
We took these pictures yesterday, late afternoon, during a deluge of rain. . .it was so refreshing after a blistering hot day.  I wanted to run around in it, but didn’t ~ for fear of being struck by lighting.

“One cannot fix one’s eyes on the commonest natural production without finding food for a rambling fancy.”

  1. Praise God for the rain we had an amazing rain storm yesterday too. We usually let the kids run around and play in the rain but the lightening was everywhere. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pics. have a wonderful day.~Michelle

  2. Hey… we didn’t get any rain. Oh well. I’m hoping for some today… maybe it will cool it off. I hope you’re staying cool in your un-air conditioned house. I keep thinking about you. I tried calling you this morning… I’ll call back later this afternoon. I need directions. 🙂

  3. Great shots!  It’s pictures like that that I would put all over my house.  Doesn’t leave much wall space but I love both the beauty of God’s creation and my munchkins.  Way to take time to notice these treasures around you-kids and creation.

  4. I think you should become a professional photographer when you grow up! You have got some priceless pictures…….God has blessed you with this talent!! 🙂

  5. I love the one of you in the rocker…also the one of the kids at the railing.  I let everyone play on our front porch in the rain as well.  Can’t wait to see you.  Are you still planning on coming for VBS?
As for the way I do the pics.  I don’t hit enter between them when I add another one.  I can get a couple of pics added  and then hit enter.  On the composition page they do not look like they are next to each other.  So I sometimes edit the pages quite a few times.  I play around with them a little until I get them the way I want them.

  6. Great pics!  I enjoy rainy days, but we get so many of them, that I am more likely to take pictures of the sunny ones.  I continue to be blessed and encouraged by you!  Thank you!

  7. I love seeing all of your pictures!  I will say it again “God has trully blessed you with an amazing talent!”  You capture the moment in all of your pictures, they are beautiful!!!  The rain does look so refreshing on a hot summer day   ~God Bless You!!
