The Lord is my Shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down
in green pastures:
He leadeth me
besides the still waters.
He restoreth
my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
for Thou art with me;
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies:
Thou anointest my head with oil;
my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

beautiful.
lovely picture, lovely verses….have a restful Sunday!
Praise His holy Name!
HE will lead me, and goodness and mercy will follow me. That is powerful protection! Love the picture of Sethie- so sweet. Have a lovely Lord’s day!
I returned to this recently and it was such a comfort, like an old faithful friend.
First, I love that picture. Makes me want a bunch of babies.
Second, this psalm was in my heart yesterday.
The 23rd Psalm is one I pray daily, nightly, and whenever I need to be reminded of our Comforter.
AMEN!!
GREAT post. thank you.
Such comforting words– I love this psalm!
My boys memorized this scripture during Classical Conversations this year. When the pastor of the church we hold the class at suggested it, I thought – hmm..why are we memorizing a scripture about dying? Ha! What did I know? This is beautiful, comforting and life changing.
One of my very favorite passages. Missed you today. Love you.
I love this! After a most exciting day – this was a good way to bring in to a slow(er) pace! Blessings!
