Where are you going
sweet girl child?
Come sit here beside me
stay a little while
Don’t be in a hurry
don’t grow up so fast;
In the sweetness of innocence,
let this time last.
Hold tight to your dollies,
and dance with your dreams;
For time it is as fleeting,
As flickering moonbeams.
I cherish every moment
sweet little girl child;
Come sit here beside me,
Stay a little while.

precious, is that Kit and Samantha? My girls use to love American girl dolls (we have all but 2 of them) I have then packed away for little Faith to enjoy (and me too)!

I love that poem, Shanda. One of the things I want to do this upcoming year is learn to do calligraphy. I think that poem would look great in my girls’ room. 🙂 Those two girls are so sweet together. I’m glad they have each other to play with.
So sweet. I hope Maryn has a sister…
