  1. Shanda your sandals rock!
I love the red that pops out in the pictures! Gee’s hat is too cute!
This is the best, best, best picture of you and Rich! You both look so relaxed and stylish at the same time!

  2. Beautiful, Purple!
As far as your comment in my blog: We ALL have a  lot to learn!  You are doing, and will keep doing, great!

  3. I’m so sorry, but what does “DH” mean?  Does it mean “dear husband”?  I’ve been wondering for a quite a while!  Will someone enlighten me, please?
Thanks everyone, for your kind words!  The family picture was done with my self-timer on my camera and I was very happy with the result!  Ethan, my 8 year old, took the other picture.
Jo, I liked those sandals and “had to buy them” at Sears ( Land’s End).  Maybe you could find some for yourself!

  4. I can’t beleive its been 11 years Shan–but wonderful ones right!  God has blessed you with great and many children and a good husband.  Count your blessings name them one by one!  It was good to see your photo’s and smiles. love, Lish

  5. Mmmmm September, the beginning of autumn. Apple pies, hot cider, beautiful colors, cool crisp mornings. What a great way to kick it off at Sturbridge Village!Great pics! As usual!

  6. RYC- I am excited only in the sense that I need routine. If I was homeschooling then I would be just as ready for that routine! Summer is just too “loosey-goosey” after awhile!

  7. Thanks for your comments! I struggle most, I think with seeing so many who say they are Christians but who live however they please. I wonder how they can continue doing what they do and not feel miserable. What you said is so true, though. When we really have that love relationship with Jesus, we will desire to please Him, and we will feel sad when we disobey. I think many see Christianity more as “fire insurance” than a relationship. Relationships have responsibilities. Loving relationships bring a sense of wanting to please the other person. The Bible is so clear about what God expects from His children. How it must grieve Him when those who say they are His choose to ignore His ways.

  8. Great looking family.  You should be proud!  I love how a simple photo for your post can make it a great place to stop by.  Have a great week with the family.
