Welcome September!

My family: Rich holding David, Grace, Jacob, Ethan, Me, Caleb

I can’t believe we celebrate our 11th anniversary this month!
We took the children to Old Sturbridge Village in MA yesterday. Thought you would enjoy seeing some pictures.
Shanda your sandals rock!
I love the red that pops out in the pictures! Gee’s hat is too cute!
This is the best, best, best picture of you and Rich! You both look so relaxed and stylish at the same time!
Beautiful family! Those are really great pictures!
Beautiful, Purple!
As far as your comment in my blog: We ALL have a lot to learn! You are doing, and will keep doing, great!
What a beautiful family! The scenery is so pretty too!
These are too cute, Shan. Yesterday was the perfect day for that, too. I’m glad you had a wonderful day as a family.
I have always wanted to go there, I think it is about a 3 hr trip from us. It looks like a beautiful place. The pictures are beautiful as well
I just happened upon your site and want to say that you have a beautiful family!
my famous comment: CUTE CUTE CUTE…….you all look great and looks like you had a great time!
You are beautiful, and so is your family! Great pics!
Great photos! π Love the one of you and DH. Very sweet photo π
i loved the pics!
I’m so sorry, but what does “DH” mean? Does it mean “dear husband”? I’ve been wondering for a quite a while! Will someone enlighten me, please?
Thanks everyone, for your kind words! The family picture was done with my self-timer on my camera and I was very happy with the result! Ethan, my 8 year old, took the other picture.
Jo, I liked those sandals and “had to buy them” at Sears ( Land’s End). Maybe you could find some for yourself!
What a beautiful family shot!
You and your hubby make such a cute couple!
Hugs
I can’t beleive its been 11 years Shan–but wonderful ones right! God has blessed you with great and many children and a good husband. Count your blessings name them one by one! It was good to see your photo’s and smiles. love, Lish
Mmmmm September, the beginning of autumn. Apple pies, hot cider, beautiful colors, cool crisp mornings. What a great way to kick it off at Sturbridge Village!Great pics! As usual!
What a beautiful family, and boy, does little David look like his daddy!
FYI, DH means Dear Husband. π
Oh I love your family. How beautiful!Love, Beverly
RYC- I am excited only in the sense that I need routine. If I was homeschooling then I would be just as ready for that routine! Summer is just too “loosey-goosey” after awhile!
Thanks for your comments! I struggle most, I think with seeing so many who say they are Christians but who live however they please. I wonder how they can continue doing what they do and not feel miserable. What you said is so true, though. When we really have that love relationship with Jesus, we will desire to please Him, and we will feel sad when we disobey. I think many see Christianity more as “fire insurance” than a relationship. Relationships have responsibilities. Loving relationships bring a sense of wanting to please the other person. The Bible is so clear about what God expects from His children. How it must grieve Him when those who say they are His choose to ignore His ways.
Great looking family. You should be proud! I love how a simple photo for your post can make it a great place to stop by. Have a great week with the family.
thanks for sharing the pics! found you thru BOOST posts… and saw that you went to Sturbridge village, did you like it? I live in NH, and have wanted to go for years, but never got there! Just love your big family and the beautiful kids. Do you home school? Well, just saying hi. Stop by sometime, to my xanga that is, would love to get to know ya!
have a great day!
How was your holiday weekend? Missed you.
